Organiser Terms
These terms apply when you list an event and sell tickets through Eventrivo. By submitting an event or ticking the organiser agreement, you accept them.
1. Who can sell
You must be authorised to sell tickets for the events you list, and the details you provide must be accurate. Eventrivo reviews every listing before it goes live and may decline or remove any event at its discretion.
2. Fees and payouts
Eventrivo charges a platform fee of 2.5% per paid ticket as a launch rate. Free events (₦0 tickets) carry no platform fee. The payment processor’s transaction fee (Paystack) is paid by the organiser from their share.
Organiser payouts are made to your connected Paystack subaccount. You are responsible for the bank and tax details you provide. Eventrivo may update standard pricing in future with reasonable notice; the rate shown at the time you list an event applies to that event.
3. Refunds
Refunds are issued only with Eventrivo Owner approval. An organiser (or an Eventrivo admin on your behalf) may request a refund, but no refund is processed until the Owner approves it.
Approved refunds are returned to the buyer’s original payment method through Paystack. The Eventrivo platform fee and the Paystack processing fee may be non-refundable. Free (₦0) tickets are not eligible for refunds. Where you cancel or materially change an event, you must inform affected ticket holders and support reasonable refund requests.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for running your event, honouring valid tickets at the door, and complying with applicable laws and venue rules. You must not list events that are fraudulent, unlawful, or that infringe others’ rights. Event posters you upload are published after location and camera metadata are removed.
5. Suspension and liability
Eventrivo may suspend a listing or account to protect buyers, the platform, or third parties. Eventrivo provides the ticketing platform only and is not the organiser or promoter of your event. To the extent permitted by law, Eventrivo is not liable for the conduct or cancellation of events, which remains the organiser’s responsibility.
